    Rear Tailshaft

I read on another thread that when removing the tailshaft you dont need to mark it up as it is pre balanced and as long as you dont seperate the two shaft parts its ok. is this true?
on the manual it says to mark it.

reason i ask is kinda obvious. i forgot to do it. i'm replacing the rubber uni at the diff end while im at it and the spigot in the shaft.

just wondering if it is crucial to mark it. i may be able to match up the markings between the surfaces but if it may not be an option. or if not necessary either i wont bother.

i didnt mark either the diff nor the Tcase end. i did mark the front shaft.

    thanks

I wouldn't fret, the radial location of the shaft at each end is pretty precise and it shouldn't go out of balance in a different position. I don't mark them, haven't had a problem yet.
