Question Brake circuit on Discovery 1 fuses out

    Hi
I have purchased a 1996 3.9lt V8 Discovery 1 and thought that the brake switch was faulty and replaced it as the fuse blew every time I connected the 4 pin wiring loom. As I am new to Landrovers and this one is purchased cheaply to do a Kids Kidney Kar rally, I am trying to do most of the repairs myself. I have worked out there a two active and two neutral wires can someone explain how the circuits work and how can I track down the grounding issue. I am trying to get the vehicle registered and this is the final stumbling block
    Thanks
    Mick N

Mick, I suggest you go here: Dave's Interesting Things and buy a copy of the workshop manual on CD.

You need this one: Dave's Interesting Things

In the meantime, here is possibly the page you need from the ETM (Electrical Troubleshooting Manual on that disc).
