Hi all,
Am looking to install front & rear ARB diff lockers on a series 1 v8i Disco with about 200k on the clock. Can any one advise if installing higher strength axles is recommended on the rear? Am not looking to do anything too crazy off road. To this end are there any other components which should be considered?

The ARB lockers are good and I doubt very much that you have problems with them. They are a good unit. You don't have to upgrade the axles but I do think that you would eventually break an axle. I would also take it carefully when steering with the front locker in so the CV doesn't Break.

I know this doesn't relate to the lockers, but what about the shaft between the Gearbox & Transfer Case.... Is that ever an issue of breaking & leaving u stranded?
Depending on what year your Disco is look to change to 24 spline if they are currently 10 spline. You could do this with replacement stock axles to start with if needed. I would not invest in a 10 spline locker. I think it is around 94/95 that it changes. My 92 was originally 10 spline.
