Having quite the stress out trying to work out the problem with my head lights.
Normal beam works fine and if i flash the headlights the main beam works but when i goto normal driving main beam all i get is parking lights.
Have checked the fuses under dash and they're all fine. also checked connections at headlights and can't see any problems and just pulled the stork to bits and couldn't see any problems there either.
Anyone got some advice on what else i should look at?
ps... i've got led spots and lightbar wired into my main beam.. they still work fine when i flash but nothing when clicked onto high beam.

SubscriberYour stalk is buggered, mine did the same thing a few months ago.
Are your spots and lightbar wired through a relay?
Some on here put a relay in the head light loom to take the strain off the connectors in the headlight switch to prevent your problem. I just installed another stalk I got from someone on here wrecking a disco and it works fine.

thanks mate, will be having myself a trip to the wreckers t hunt out a replacement, cheers for the relay tip, i haven't got one in there at the moment.

SubscriberIf you haven't got a relay in the spots & lightbar, that is what caused the switch to fail.
