My build starts tomorrow.. hsv powered disco ute or twin cab.

Well been collecting bits for close to six months.

    1x t700 with lt230 adapter

About six million hours on aulro ,uk sites looking at utes, bobtails everythings.
But loved this one done here..1434718465145.jpg
But the last few days I'm thinking twin cab
Was always going to do 17" chassis extension1434718570191.jpg
TRANSPORT has given me the OK.
Engineer has file atm looking over my plans.
He reckons it looks pretty good.
My file included many cad drawings,
Photos from members builds to show in real life what I'm thinking of doing.
Wish me luck . And wait for more photos and reports..

For those looking for adapter got mine from
    Www.designfab.com.au
The adapter has been used behind a few very big ls Powered comp trucks.
So my little 5l should not worry it lol.
It has 3 mounting position to allow it to pass the GmT700 oil pans..

And of course will have to move the factory lt230 mounts back..

Well got the green one up and finished.
Over flow bottle, rear shaft coupling. Rear window rail.. few other things..
Might get the grinder out tomorrow and see how a twin cab looks.
In a perfect world I would love to remove rear door and fit some front doors with a moded glass to make square rear doors
    Like a factory twin cab..
But then have to reapply for engineering..
    And find another disco.....
    Two many ideas..
    Need to re focus....
    LOL

Sorry it has to be a Ute..
I reckon a d2 would be better for a twin cab....
    Might do that Td5 next....
