    Headlights - pre-facelift

    Hi all
    Anybody know if the headlamps on a pre-facelift are interchangeable with anything cheap and plentiful? They just look like rectangular inserts that loads of things especially Japanese, had in the 1980s...
    I've found sets in pairs for 60 quid ex-UK plus freight, which didn't seem cheap. The RDX replacements are nice but out of the budget

    I think they're Disco specific. They're more square than rectangular & they're also handed as they follow the tapered nose.

    Cheers Scott, I was afraid of that...methinks will be cheaper and quicker to change to the facelift grille & lights as I have mates with these bits lying around...
    Would also make life easier for replacements and fixes down the track.

    Might be a bit of work as the light mount differently. I have early and late discos and can't interchange without quite a bit of work.

    If yours are broken, look at some second hand ones and upgrade the wiring then put better globes in them. That is what I have done.
