Thread: Power steering leak

It is just a seal, but you might be better off installing a whole seal kit. While you have it apart.
Assuming of course, that the hose entry points are OK.

If its just the lower seal, you can do it in there, tho it is easier with the box on the bench. Getting the pitman arm off is sometimes the hardest part. Last one I did required puller + oxy to budge it.

I need to do mine also, been putting it off for some time but in my case its both the steering arm seal and the pitman arm, so ill have to remove.

Carlos..... Mine is doing the same, as in leaking in both spots.... What did u end up doing...... repairing or replacing?

Rob - I have been ignoring it :P

But still have to do at some stage, cant avoid it for ever.
