Faulty Interior Light (middle one) on my D1 - what options is there ?

Gents....

The middle interior light on my '96 Disco is stuffed. Looking at options as to whether to just find a 2nd-hand one or if there other options that will put out a better light (ie: LED).

Has anyone fitted an after-market one ?

I'm wanting to improve the interior lighting on my Disco, so what have others done to improve the interior lighting, especially in the middle and in the Cargo areas ??

When you say stuffed, do you mean the globe is blown or is the fixture stuffed?

For my interior lights, I have fitted an led insert to the front light from

Land Rover Defender 90 110 130 Discovery LED Interior Light Lamp Globe Upgrade | eBay

He is also a member on here.

This will also fit the centre light although I don't use my centre light

For the rear light on the side of the cargo area, I disconnected the light and stuck a 10" LED strip above the door frame facing back into the cargo area and ran wires from the side light.

Now I have plenty of light inside the car.

If the globe holder part is broken then its easy to solder the wires to the led boards as they come with 3 adapter leads.
They really are bright and being a white light its a lot easier to see.
