Odd miss on Petrol
G'day all.
Been a while since I asked some questions about Ox , my 1998 V8 D1.
That has to be a good thing , yes?
Anyway for some time now ( and it hasn't really bothered me to be honest) the D1 has developed this odd sort of misfire on petrol.
He runs fine on gas if somewhat idling a bit rough but that's just me being ultra fussy. Accelerates and drives great on LPG.
I have to start on Petrol and then swap over to gas.
Between 1750rpm and 2250 rpm it sounds like it's starving or getting intermittent fuel. Under that is fine and under heavy acceleration , say above 2250 rpm its fine.
Just in that band of 1750-2250 rpm it has the miss?
Any ideas of where to start looking?
BTW , the fuel pump has been diagnosed as fine and ignition wise it must be fine to run well on LPG.
Pete

Nope
It's a major miss, like short fuelling or something
