    Flexy Coils ?

    [FONT=""][COLOR=""][SIZE=""]Seasons greetings everyone! I am considering purchasing a set of Flexy Coils for my Disco and would appreciate the opinions of anyone that has had experience with them, good or bad. My Disco has a TJM Bull bar with a winch on the front, so I'll probably opt for the mid range springs for the front, or maybe even the higher one ( apparently there are three options, low, medium and high ) as I would like to add a second battery under the bonnet in the future. As for the rear I would probably opt for the low weight spring and fit Poly Bags to handle heavy loads when needed.
    Suspension Stuff has them on offer for $480 for a set of four. That sounds pretty reasonable doesn't it ? Also I was wondering what some good options would be regarding shock absorbers to compliment the 2" lift Flexy Coils ? Opinions very welcome. Thanks.[/SIZE][/COLOR][/FONT]

    Do you want maximum flex or just something called flexy ?, you need to match the rest of the package to get the most out of it.

    [FONT=""][COLOR=""][SIZE=""]Thanks for the quick reply Lonerangie. The most important thing for me is a comfy ride.
    The set up I'm aiming for is a comfortable tourer.The places the Disco has taken me in stock form has surprised the hell out of me, so flex and ground clearance aren't a priority, though a little bit would be nice. The price of the Flexy coils sounds reasonable and since the back of my Disco is usually empty I thought the progressive spring sounded like a good option. I was also wondering if I needed to fit longer shock absorbers to prevent bottoming or perhaps I should say topping out when the spring is fully extended.[/SIZE][/COLOR][/FONT]

    havent been on their site for a while but if they still have the mates rates kit with the 2 inch lift its hard to go wrong with it.

    call em, give them the weights on your vehicle, give them your credit card details and then wait for the stuff to turn up.

    I'm not a fan of the shocky bushes they supply so ring mr automotive or similar at the same time and give them your details and ask for a full set of the proper rubber bushes to suit.

    Standard length shocks are fine for a 2" lift.

    the ones that come in the mates rates kit are matched to the springs and the load rate you ask for, doing it this way is a no muss no fuss, simple point and shoot solution. generally, anything else is a can of worms and no 2 people will give you the same answer.
