    Brake Booster Question

I am about to go looking for a SH brake booster. Does the V8 and Tdi share the same?
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

One thing you need to watch for and that is the length of the pushrod from the booster to master cylinder (m/c), they are adjustable, too long and the brakes won't release and too short and pedal doesn't start to brake till halfway down stroke.
I adjusted mine by re-fitting the Booster and offering up the m/c to the pushrod (installed) and seeing if there was any pressure against the m/c before it was seated fully and adjusted length till zero pressure with pushrod touching the cylinder inside m/c.
Also the alloy spacer between Booster and firewall should be kept with it's respective Booster, bit fiddly, but not too hard, Regards Frank.
