    Cool Our first Landy

Okay, all our friends already know we are cRaZy! We found this one owner discovery by chance and though it was unregistered, decided it was good enough for us! It has 212000ks and is a 300tdi manual. I am going to fit new wheel bearings, new steering damper and new shockers. Inspected front right bearing yesterday evening and the grease is really burnt! But the bearings them selves looked in fairly good nick.
Other than having 2 extra batteries she is stock standard.
Land rover engineers certainly thought outside the square when they designed theses babies!
Okay I know I will be asking several thousand questions later so I will keep this short.
    Cheers Peter

Well done on the purchase. The D1 300 TDi is a good bus. I just did 11,500km in 3 weeks across the top end in mine and the only problem I had was fixing a previously split mudflat with a piece of cable tie. I'm sure you will love it. Welcome to the fold!
