How much does your Disco weigh, loaded

Got a shock the other day when I ran my 94 disco (300TDi, Auto) over Sell & Parkers weighbridge at Nowra, 2.56 tonnes.
I figured around 2 tonnes, my Son, 120kgs. and I 90kgs (down from 106kgs.) were on board along with 3 x9m. chains, snatch block, a few strap slings, a bag of assorted shackles, chainsaw, small shovel, compressor and at least 100kgs. of assorted tools, and an Engel 40L. fridge.
Have a winch bullbar, winch, dual battery system, 33x12.5x15" tyres, which all add up.
I'm going to have to organise my tools a lot better, I reckon I could get them down to 50kgs., I won't be reducing my recovery gear, actually I'm looking around for a decent size snatch block to add.
So how much does your Disco weigh and what can you do to lighten the load?
Would be interesting to see how others manage their Weight (Disco that is) or Defender, Regards Frank.

With driver on board, it came in at 2810kg. The owner's manual gives the following figures for the 4.6 litre petrol auto model. So it's 30kg above GVM and that's with a half-full long range tank and only one person on board.

The Rangie has a roof rack, awning, long range tank, an LPG tank, Kaymar rear bar and wheel carrier. It doesn't have a bull bar (I took it off). It's fitted with drawers, an Engel fridge, and the tent was on the roof rack.

Im not surprised, arent they about 2 tonne empty with one average weight person and full tank, I'll bet mine is just about near 2.5 most of the time.....very heavy for the size of the vehicle.
