    lt77s to R380 conversion in 200Tdi Disco.

It appears that my lt77s has bitten the biscuit - whining in 1st and 2nd; jumps out of reverse and not sounding healthy. Will an r380 from a 300Tdi Defender bolt on or does it have to be from a Disco? Disco 1 only? The reason I ask is that I have one from a Defender that is potentially available.

    Other bits required:
    Flywheel from 300Tdi?
    Gearbox mounts?
    Propshafts?

    Thanks in advance

    Matthew

R380 from a d1 is a direct bolt in. Defender one is not. You will not need any propshafts etc either ☺

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Are the input shafts the same length or different according to engine for the r380?
I know the lt77s gearboxes from v8 discos had a longer input shaft than those from the diesels....iirc
