Caster correcting arms + Braided Brake Lines

    Hi all,

So my mechanic took my D1 for a test drive and returned looking fearful.
Apparently driving a disco shouldnt be similar to wrestling an aggravated bull.

After my research I believe i need a 6 degree correction due to having more than 4" of lift.

So, looking for advice on caster correcting arms, brands and rough prices if anyone knows any.

And the braided brake line question.

I have an equivalent 5.5" lift (I am lead to believe) so do i need to go custom or will the extended braided brake line kits found from Brands like Terrafirma work?

Thanks in advance for any help

Slotting the bolt holes for the swivel housings will give you a better result as you don't hammer the front drive shaft uni's as much.

Making the holes oval instead of round.

Agreed, i have castor correction bushes and they have instilled more vibrations than they took out.
Slotting the swivels is the only way, i'm going back to oe rubber bushes as there wasnt an issue previously but thought i would try the castor correction.
Make sure your swivel pre-load is good and it will take out some of the wander.

You slot the mounting holes so you can rotate them back towards rear of vehicle to get the castor back to spec without altering the drive shaft angle.
