Thread: Any mechanics in Melbourne who LOVE working on Discos?

I know there is a big list of mechanics who are good for Land Rovers in every state, but I want someone who is not only one of those people but who is a proper enthusiast...does such a person exist here in Melbourne?

I've been to Ritter and they're great, but they're a big place and aren't cheap. My friend is going to give my Disco a minor service and he's a great mechanic and a massive Alfa Romeo enthusiast, so he understands pain haha, and apparently his boss (he works at a workshop) owns a D2 TD5 and has done so for a while and knows a few things about Discos. Not sure how that translates to a 300Tdi D1 but for the basic stuff I'm sure it'll be fine.

I'm going to have to go through my vehicle with a fine tooth comb though and I'd love to find someone in this city who is not only a good mechanic but a proper Land Rover enthusiast.

Any suggestions?
