    Hens Teeth? Seat

    Hi Folks, I'm chasing a drivers seat for 3 window D1 in Newcastle/Raymond Terrace area. Any out there?

    I think the title hens teeth seat got the interest as not one of us have heard of a seat made from hens teeth,

    Seat or base?

    AFAIK (?) the seat itself is identical, only the base is different (flip forward). I have fixed both my front seat bases (mechanism) over time due to failures, but that's pretty easy with a welder. I have a spare base here at the moment, but not sure that would you help you much as the freight could be a bit exxy to you...

    Meant to say 3 DOOR, the seat rolls forward and tilts to let the rear passenger into the rear seat. That's good to know the seat is the same in 3 doors and 5. It's the rails on ours that's coming to pieces. I'll pull the seats in the next week or so and try and fixum.

    There was a change in the seat construction between the 95/96 bases.
