    Disco 1 electric brakes

    Hi all
    I have a 93 Disco 1 and I have just bought a Olympic Explorer 16 foot van It has electric brakes fitted and I need to wire in a controller. I need to connect into the foot brake switch which is just about impossible to acess. Anywhere else I can connect into/and/or comments ?

    If you can't get to the wiring off the brake switch, you could always run a wire back from the brake lights - you'll be running a cable down the back anyway for the brake wire to the van, so you could always run another at the same time.

    Failing that, you're going to have to invert yourself in the footwell, remove the kick panels and sort it like that.

    Switch and its wiring were pretty easy to get at on mine ('93)
    '93 D1 V8 auto
    '93 D1 200Tdi 2-door, ARB's, MD transfer, sill tanks, winch, 2"lift.......
    '95 D1 V8 auto......gone
    '86 V8 RRC.....gone
