    Yep very common get a new bolt aswell i added an extra 3 mm washer to mine so i was sure it wouldnt bottom out

    Mine just cut and sliced the woodruff key, then the balancer proceeded to spin up on the end of the shaft for a short while.
    The end of the crank on mine now has very subtle grooves from the resultant mess, but the balancer still goes on tight and locks into place.

    I thought that maybe the bolt had bottomed out on mine too, but I double checked the bolt length by screwing it in with the balancer off, and it drove in to a point leaving about half the thickness of the balancer .. so definitely didn't bottom out on mine.
