V8 Coolant Leak - Radiator to Expansion Tank Hose Size
Hi All
Need some advice.
Have been losing coolant and couldn't find the leak until yesterday after seeing puddle under car. I found a small weep where the small hose from the radiator enters the expansion tank. Went to tighten the clamp and it came off losing a lot of coolant. Not nice.
So I don't wan't to mess around with this because its not something you want to happen when driving. I thought I will get some new heater hose to replace the hose on the car. Have read some threads that say to not use fuel hose, fair enough.
But what is the correct size heater hose ? Would this be 8mm or 5/16 or something else ?
Hoping its just the hose and not a pressure issue.

8mm or 5/16", same thing. Get Mackay brand from Bursons or similar, should last for years, it's what I used to keep around for Justin Case. The nylon tube used by LR definitely has a use-by date.
