There are better manual gearbox oils available now, DX2 is not really the best available these days. And the transfer case should never be run on DX2 either.
Penrite Transgear 75w/80 in my g/box (LT77). Only complaint is a slight balk when changing gears on a really cold morning (prob -3 and under), after a km or so its fine. There are numerous other brands of manual trans fluids that could be ok.
85w/140 prob a tad on the heavy side.
