    Disco1 spring shock combo

So the shocks are rooted In the disco going to replace them with new Billy's but also want to give it a two inch lift at a later date will the standard replacement Billy's be long enough to cope with 2" lift at a later date or is there a longer bilstein to suit the lift if so if anyone's got the p/n for those would be great
B46-0253 is the stock replacement number

IME the std Billy shocks are not long enough and/or do not have enough rebound damping for a laden Disco with 2 inch lift.
I had a lot of topping out before I changed to Iron Man shocks - these ones I think
Land Rover Discovery Series 1 1989-1998 Suspension Kits - Constant Load with Foam Cell Pro Shocks - Ironman 4x4

But they are only about 12 months and one expedition trip old so cant say much about longevity yet - but zero topping and my car is about 1to 2 inch lift.

Others will no doubt recommend Koni as well as Billy variants.

There's a longer Billy Matt, can't remember the part number off the top of my head but Heasmans/Sydney Shocks stock them, and Les Richmond used to in Melbourne too

The numbers should be in an old post on here, I just can't search off the phone.
I'll have the lap top going later, will look then.

I have them on my county, they are horrible! Only 12 months old too, worst shock I have had on a landy ever, but I normally buy quality shocks, these were on it when I got it.
