I will be taking my injector pump to a guy in Albany - i think it is the same European guy that was mentioned...
The IP is from my spare parts vehicle which is an automatic 300tdi, although the vehicle that the rebuilt injector pump will be going into is my manual 300tdi.
Will this pose any problems? I have heard the IP from the autos is tuned differently?
If that is the only difference then i guess i will just get the rebuild guy to tune it to manual 300tdi specs..?
I am actually about to start rebuilding the engine from the same auto 300tdi to go into my manual disco. I presume the only differences are the bellhousing adapter plate thingo. I was just going to bolt the manual bellhousing mount and the flywheel onto the crank of new engine?
I ordered a nice new hybrid turbo from the UK for the new engine build the other day too...It's going to be nice!
