    It followed me home

So after the rust issues I've found another tdi, picked it up today.
Needs a good clean but it is a pretty sound car and has a fair service history with it.
Will get on with giving a timing belt change and all fluids and take it from there. As for the rusty one I have some ideas....

Took the new beast in for a roadworthy today. Nothing too major found

    • Weeping from oil cooler line (had a inkling there was an issue)
    • Rear axle seal leaking
    • Rear shocks (knew this when I bought it)
    • Front shock rubbers (will replace with new shocks to match rear again knew they would need doing)
    • Steering damper rubbers (strange as it is a four month old damper, maybe the reused the old rubbers)

Before the roadworthy I replaced a cracked rear indicator in the bumper and both front indicators in the bullbar with LED ones. The LED lights have stopped the trailer warning flashing on the dash too.

So a few things to keep me entertained over the weekend. Pretty happy with it, drives well and after a good scrub looks pretty good.
