    Need help

    Looking for this part, cant find on google anybody able to ID it for me would be great. Its the rubber seal for the transfer lever on a D1 300tdi automatic

    I bought a generic gaiter for my RRC from a an auto parts store. The previous owner's mechanics had sliced around the original gaiter rather than drill out the rivets.

    Do a search for "new.lrcat.com" which is an on-line Land Rover parts catalogue. If I was at my PC I'd look up the part no. for you.

    Edit: I just had a look, I think you need part no. BTR5503

    Wait! That looks like the inner gaiter through the console. Still looking.

    Try FRC6872 but the drawing doesn't match your pic. Hmm, I don't think that's it either.

    Where did you find that first image? Is there a part no. associated with it? I can't find the item in MicroCat for Land Rover.

    Found it: BTR9813 The drawing in Microcat looks nothing like it.

    You should be able to order it.
