Thread: Installing Diff centre in housing upside down?

Is it possible to install the diff into the housing upside down on 94 200tdi D1?

Will it fit and will the axles slide back into the diff centre for full reassembly?

Aiming to change direction. 5 speeds reverse, 1 speed forward, also not worried about lubrication etc.

Anything is possible , you will need to cut away metal from the banjo on the opposite side for the crown wheel to slot into , and redrill 4 bolt holes. . The axles will line up.
