    300TDi head

    I’m re building a 300TDi and I need another cylinder had as mine has gone porous, can anyone recommended used disco parts outlets that are reasonably priced, located in vic ?

    the prob is with second hand you dont know its history, you will have to purchase it get it pressure tested.
    check Jollys up pull it or pick a part they some times have D1s they are pretty cheap as your have to pull it off the vehicle yourself if you want go down that route.

    I dropped into KLR Automotive today to have a look at their new workshop so I asked about 300Tdi heads.

    I also asked where the heads they sell/use come from. Brad thinks they are made in Spain or Brazil. They’ve never had a problem with them.

    They won’t use secondhand heads. Blown head gaskets mean a new head, too. It’s simply not worth having to redo it.
