Hi, I have a D2 so I am usually over there but Son One has a Disco 1 project he has been working away on and is getting close to having ready for a roadworthy. It's a 200tdi with a five speed manual. We ordered a new speedo cable and the one that has been sent has a square inner cable on the speedo end but an oval end on the transfer case end. The one which was in there, the inner cable has square on both ends. I went back to the parts place and they tried two different suppliers, both only had the oval end ones.

Part Number supplied is PRC9872

Has anyone had to replace their speedo cable and know if the oval end one will work? There is no transducer box like on the auto.
