    Disco 1 aircon switch in cabin

    Anyone able to find an aircon switch for their Disco 1? (part number BTR6491)
    Mine has given up the ghost. I am looking at STC1863 (the switch next to aircon switch - it recirculates air into cabin) and I swear they look the same. I can't be bothered buying a whole control panel (AWR7154) coz its over $500 !!
    Anyhow if STC1863 doesn't work for some reason, I will have to go to some auto elec retailer and just bung in some generic switch and not bother how it looks - I just want my aircon to work!

    Any clues?

    I'm sure still available, that is STC1863, the BTR6491 does come up with being obsolete.

    Have you tried a wrecker? I do have a spare aircond panel in a D1, but can't get to it for a week.

    I have the remains of a D1 that should have the switch, will check later. Don’t know it’s condition but you are welcome to it if you want. I’m in Sunbury.
