Thread: ABS Fault Code

Hey folks,
I am hoping for some guidance on an ABS problem. Disco 1 300Tdi 96.
ABS light on dash.
The fault code is flashing 2-2.



So I pulled the pump relay. Looks ok. The "(doesn't switch off)" symptom is not really the problem as I don't hear the pump running.
But I am not sure if the pump is meant to run all the time? When is it meant to run? Only when pressure gets low?
When I turn the key ON the pump doesn't run. I cant hear it whilst driving cos the car is too noisy.
As for "Wiring Connection" - the wires and terminals seem fine to me.

So I pulled the cover off the pump relay and I can turn the pump on and off by closing the relay contacts...
I am not really sure what to check next as am not familiar with/hate these ABS systems.
Any guidance/things to check would be amazing!!!
