    Removing alpine windows

    Hi All,

My young bloke has bought another one, and Dad is doing some bits and pieces for the roadworthy.

I need to get the alpine windows out to sort a bit of rust.

    How do they come out?

It looks like there's a second rubber/plastic strip pressed into the rubber, does that come out and release it all?

    Thanks in advance.

Exactly. The inner locking strip just pulls out, usually from the join that would be at the top centre. Then it's just a case of working around it. Window gets removed outwards. You may find a hairdryer useful to soften the rubber a bit.
