Thread: disco water pump

Hi all,
first post here.

i've looked through the forum but cant find anyone with a similar issue to me.

I have a '97 landrover discovery built in january and everytime i try to buy a water pump for it they come back with the wrong part.

its a 3.8L V8.

I brought a pump from autobarn in preston for $230 that looks as though its for a rangerover from what I can tell. its a powermax w2614. it seems as though supercheap would supply me the same one too but for $140. theres a genuine parts place up the road in doncaster but that'll cost $320 just for the part.

Seems as though it should be a common problem, any help would be really appreciated.
