The viscous clutch for the radiator fan on my 1993 D1 3.5 ltr has failed . I have locked it off mechanically so I am mobile , but need to replace it . My mechanic in Inverloch can't find an after market clutch and the Landrover item is in excess of $600 dollars . Does anyone know of alternatives such as the XF Falcon fan which bolts on to the TD1 [ with a blade trim ] .

I have been dealing with Inverloch Gas And Hire but will check with Inverloch Marine if I don't get a posotive answer here . Also , I am off to Melbourne tomorrow so I will vist the dealer to check on fan commonality . If the Tdi and 3.4 V8 fans are common then the XF sounds suitable .
