    silly question

    can anyone tell me if the 2003 Series 2 Disco headlights will bolt onto the 94-98 Discovery without any surgery?

    I just thought that this conversion might look pretty cool thats all

    are they styled similar to the 03 model? im new to the landrover game thats all

    For both models (D1 and 99-02 D2) the pattern of the headlight support panel is different.

    For the 99-02 D2, you can retrofit 03 lights if you plasma cut the support panel out and mig a 03 panel in.(Saw it done in a UK LR magazine)

    But for the 94-98 D1, the front quarter panels etc are the wrong shape and neither D2 assembly will fit. I suppose if you were able to obtain a set of front panels, trim and headlight supports it could be done - but it would be expensive.

    Thanks for that Langy. Was wondering about converting an '01 to '03 headlights myself. You've answered a question I was not sure of. Not worth the effort.
