Here's 'George' the '95 300tdi ES towing the camper through a rocky bit of Lakeland NP on Cape York.

Hi. My name is Mike and Im new to the forum. This is the 300tdi that i picked up yesterday

Has a 2 inch lift kit along with the usual roo bar spotties and tow bar.

First job will be to give it a thorough clean

So far the lift, muddys and exhaust are all that's on her, getting a heavy duty clutch kit since I blew mine monday

Here's a pic of 'George' negotiating a bushfire on Cape York. We had to turn around as the fire closed in on the road, which wasn't easy when towing a camper.

This looks like the first creek crossing after twin falls, otl, cape york. an interesting exit from memory.

Exactly, and it is interesting. My BIL in a Triton got stuck there and had to be snatched. However George, towing the camper, just idled out, thanks to the rear auto locker. :cool: This is a fact I have frequently felt it necessary to remind my BIL about. :D
