Hi all,
I have managed to immobilize my 97 manual 300tdi. No spider .
disconnected the 10AS during looking for intermittent no crank issue and mow have no activity on dash. will crank but wont start. can bypass by providing 12v to cut off solenoid on diesel pump but indicator etc don't work.
I want this !@#$!$%$%@$GREEN BOX Of DOOM gone.

anyone done this before?

anyone every bypassed the 10AS unit. I mean removed it from the vehicle entirely? I have a 97 manual 300tdi which currently cranks with no dash lights and will not fire after disconnectiong the 10AS looking for another issue/ I can get it to run by supplying 12v to the cut off solenoid but accessories/indicators etc wont work!

Have you checked the fuses? Especially the engine fuse under the bonnet - fuse box just behind battery. I might have a spare alarm unit here - I will check in the morning. I'm in Stuart Town.
