    Disco Suspension prices

My plans for a TJM or Ironman 2" lift have gone out the window and after much thought I've decided on Dobinson coils (Front C51-018 & Rear C51-023V), Bilstein Shocks (Front F4-B46-0243-M0 & Rear F4-BE5-2779-H0)
    & firestone coilrite inserts (4121)

I've got a quote from Dobinsons for the coils of $368.50 delivered and am waiting on a quote from http://truckspring.com for the shocks & coilrites which should be around $570USD or $604AUD delivered (gotta love the aussie dollar )

Only problem is that the aussie Bilstein mob are quoting a F4-B46-0255 part number for the rear shocks

Anyone with Bilsteins who can confirm which part number is correct?
    F4-BE5-2779-H0 or F4-B46-0255-??

EDIT: Since my sig is missing I'll just clarify that this is for a 300Tdi D1 update

From what I can gather discos up to 94 use b46-0243 front and b46-0253 rear. And 94-95 on use the same front but b46-0255 rear. The question is why is the rear different, they are still the same vehicle? And can you use the 0243 rears in later disco. Others might be able to explain the difference.
Also try eshocks and I think its shox.com in the states. I found their pricing to be very good.

    Cheers,
    pete

Thanks for the advice. I just ordered a set of 4 Dobinson springs (Front C51-018, Rear C51-022) and 4 Dobinson HD shocks + a Dobinson steering damper from Shane at www.suspensionstuff.com.au . Picking them up on Saturday while we're in Brissie for the CCCCC BBQ

    $800 for the lot

Wonder if I'll have time to fit them on Sunday before we head back home

Hopefully my BFG Krawlers will have arrived by the time we get back....
