    Lucas there are some details on the thread below. I am going to have to post a work log one day. I built this high spec setup from bits sourced world wide and it is worth more than my D1. LOL. Go to mp3car.com will give you some good info. Do you know if your wolf transmits data in old OBDI 1 or OBDI 2 format?

    PAS hoses

    (Pulling this thread back on track...Moderator?????)...

    Do any of these reservoir mods need changes to the PAS hoses? (Lengthening?)

    In a dual battery system, are you guys using isolators or do you have the batteries in parallel?

    What route does the cable between the batteries take? (With particular emphasis on safety.)

    At the moment I've only got a 450cca size battery as my second, but am looking at modding the PS reservoir to fit an N70ZZ. I'm running a 140A solenoid with a two-way switch setup.

    I've got some work to do on shielding my relay wiring One is for my LF240XGT's and the other for my rear worklight. I've found that in the position I have for the winch solenoid box it hardly gets a drop of water on it.

    My switching setup. In the down position it charges the second battery once the car is on and displays the green LED. In the up position it links the second battery to the first in parrallel before the car is started to provide extra power for starting.

    no hose changes changes necessary. Isolators and battery ? . .....and you say thread back on track!!! LOL.

    Good Isolator will stop cranking battery discharge etc. Google Bisolator. Isolator needs to be close to crank battery. Good position for cable is hung up in front of firewall and in behind air box to batt.

    Drivesafe on this forum sells good second battery controllers.

    I had to trim my hoses a little bit to make them fit as they where too long, also noticed while i was doing that the hose was leaking a bit, it was leaking from the part where the rubber hose goes onto the metal one. Might end up replacing it shortly. Not sure though if i should get geniune or get one made up, sure someone else has done this ! Might be a good idea when moving it to replace it !

    I've fitted a 110a/hr battery out of a new Defender in my Disco, just fits in nice and snug, more grunt than a n70 as well.

    G'day Wortho;

    I assume you didn't have to recate the Power steering Resovior to get that batt in? do have the specs on the battery , Dimensions W/L/H etc ?

    The Haze Gel 110a/h I'm interested in , is 300mm but the Power steering pump had to be relocated to get this in ?
