I'm with r.over on the COG change.

With a spring lift you are lifting a lot more weight up higher then you would doing a body lift.

The other runs 15" sunrasia type rims with 33 10.5 15 muddies and doesnt have and scrubbing problems that I have heard of.

I do know that the first is a 97 same as mine with rear sway bar still connected so this could be a factor.
Fitted many 33"s on rovers without a bodylift personally?

what if i dont have a dad,
back on topic my 2 cents worth fromy experiance, a body lift will get you more clearance for bigger rubber, bigger rubber gives you more diff clearance which is important, spring lift pushes everything but the diffs up giving you better aproach, departure and rampover angles and allows for bigger rubber, i have seen to many prob associated with bl's, if your rubbing the guards fit bump stops and longer shocks than you wont rub and yo will have down travel, also no amunt oflift i the world will get you through ruts if your tires dont give the diff centre enough clearance, big rubber low cog low gearing is the go like i say thats my 2 cents worth each to there own

may aswell add a pic of my car i know its not a rover but its for sale and im searching the for sale section for a rover
