    series1 headeck code

    on an early model disco with the vertical headdeck, with radio and cassete how do you put in the security code

    With my head deck ( 97 disco ) as soon as it was powered up again i just punched in the 4 numbers on the 6 preset radio station buttons . Hope it's the same as yours .

    93 disco series 1 with eurovox tape/radio you put in a four digit number via the 6 digit key/ memory address switch pad. I got the code in the manual that came with the car when I bought it. When you disconnect the battery and connect it again, turn on the unit and the digit 1 will appear in the display. Via the 6 memory address buttons enter the 4 digit code. Each digit will appear in the LED display. If the code is entered correctly the unit will operate after a 5 sec delay. If the incorrect code is entered the digit "2" will be displayed. You have three goes before the unit shuts down for one hour before you can try another code.

    got most of it but do you just press say 1234 than it should work or do you have to store aech number as you go or do you have to hold a button to after putting the four numbers in

    Press the number, make sure it appears in the LED display, then press the next and so on. After the fourth number is pressed wait a few seconds and the radio should start to work.
