Just out of interest, can you ACTUALLY be done under the hoon laws if you're off road?
    Serious question....
And NO, I DON"T do that kinda thing and would NEVER endorse it.

I was speaking to a Ranger a while ago over the condition of a camp site (wheelie marks everywhere) and he told me if you see anyone driving like idiots you can report it ,Yes the hoon laws apply for off road

I agree! Public land and road rules go hand in hand! In Vic., if you 'chirp' your tyres changing gears you can loose your car for 48 hours.

The Victorian ones define a burnout specifically as deliberately spinning wheels until smoke is created, usually such that the vehicle remains stationary. A quick chirp taking off or shifting is fairly innocuous and usually unintentional.

The videos posted would likely come under doughnuts

No... I was thinking more of chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, crunch, chirp, chirp, etc!

    I take your point though.

that sort of stuff is best left to private property (or unused quarries)

but as for the mud hole yeah ive been under that deep once (but quicksand was involved)
as for the donuts it really annoys me to see unequiped vehicles in the bush like those trying to drive in muddy tracks
heres a vid of my last trip out after which i found that i had stuffed rockers and a delaminated boost hose
