If it is a D2 does it have a CDL, and has the wire been cut to stop the traction control from not working? I know it is somewhere down there but haven't looked as yet.

2 Cut Wires Found Behind Glove Box From Unit ?
I was removing a broken LCD TV from the disco on the weekend and when I was done I noticed these 2 wires from a unit plug were cut off now I would like to know what is this unit and then why could these wires have been cut off ?
I have taken a photo for all to see.

It's the power window control unit. One of the wires cut is a power feed for a sunroof (?) and the other is supposed to be a control wire for something.

All four windows work so it has not affected it.

It's not that odd - the previous owner could have used the power feed ( 20a fused) to run some other device. Get a RAVE disk - it's invaluable for tracing such things in Disco's.

I have the RAVE disk and did a search which brought up the same thing all the time a diagram that made no sense to me unless you were a electrical tech on land rovers. I could not find any pin outs for this unit.

Wander thru the connector view section - it gives you both pin outs and a photo.

Yes I found it but still the same problem it does not tell me what these connections go to or what they are for like most other manuals do.
Pins A-PN & E-WK are the wires that have been cut.

E - WK (White Pink) - according to the diagram goes to the the rear window console switches (left and right)
