D1 Air-cond problem
Hi,
Just having a problem with my air cond which someone may be able to help me with...
The Air cond stopped working a while ago (not a gas issue) and i took the car (d1 300tdi) to a auto elec who fixed it. Said nothing wrong with it, as soon as he touched the relay it started working again. Which it did for about 4 weeks.
Anyway, now it stopped working again and I am going away this week and want it working...
Where is this relay i need to 'touch'???
Thanks in advance
Matt

I'm new to this stuff (forum's and the like), but I've replaced/fixed/played with lots of bits on my disco (D1, '97, 300TDi).
I had a similar problem with a/c (and low beam lights). turns out the relays were full of tiny ants and the contacts were burnt - they just needed replacing. the a/c relay is on the drivers side kick panel (to the right of the accelerator pedal). And for interest, the low beam is on the passenger side! Hope this helps!
