    Cruise control switch D1

Just wondering if anyone ever had to replace a cruise control switch from a 94 ES disco?
I believe I need to take off airbag first.
Not sure how to do that either?
    Any ideas?

Also how can I get the back bumper off?
I believe I just undo the two bolts, could it be that easy?

    thanks for any help

Can't help you regarding the cruise control switch.

The back bumper is really that easy, I didn't belive it either until it fell off after I undid the second bolt

But dont forget to undo the tail lights

Thanks for bumper info. So two bolts, who would have guessed.
    94 ES has two airbags.
Not sure if they work but heck, they are there.

I may be talking out of my rear here, but when I discussed doing this to my 94 ES, I seem to recall the LR workshop telling me that there are just a couple of screws to undo for the button to be removed without pulling the wheel off.

More importantly are you sure the problem is the button?

Quite often the vacuum advance line falls off due to perished rubber.

The button has actually fallen off because my knee hit it and broke the plastic.
