That WAS the price about 3-4 weeks ago.
Land Rover has reduced a lot of the prices on spares for the D1, D2 & P38 for that matter.
Its a lot easier to tell customers price parts these days.
Cheers
Has anyone ever had to replace a set of keyless fobs for a 1998 Disco?
Someone I know was quoted $480 each.
Told him better to ring around first.
Does this sound right to anyone?

Even some of the LM stuff has come down a lot. Front struts are nearly 1/2 what they used to be.

G'Day Mark,
I know what u mean. ("little voice")
Its just Land Rovers way of getting rid of all the stuff they have in stock/backordered gear.
There must be millions of dollars worth of stuff at the Warehouse. (Caterpillar)
It also clears the warehouse of stock to make more room for the newer models accessories & fast moving parts.
Another good accessory for D2 owners is rubber mats set used to be nearly $300.00 odd dollars, now only $115.00 for a full set of mats.
Its all good dont worry![]()
I'd say the downside will be that they're clearing out old stock, and it won't be long before D1, RRC and P38 owners will be told that certain parts are no longer available.
