I always get Enzed or similar to remanufacture mine, they use pushloc fittings and hi temp hydraulic hose and silver solder fittings to the original pipes. This is way better than the OE ones as the quality can be pretty average with some off the shelf new ones.
Works out at about $120 to $130 a pipe to get them done,(Less if you take them in yourself and they don't have to come to you to do it) .
Fitting them on a 300Tdi D1 can be a bit of a pain as the flex joint and exhaust is obstructive, but it is easy to remove. undo the 3 15mm nuts on the dump pipe flange and the 2 13mm nuts at the engine pipe joint, then simply drop the pipe a little and twist and pull towards the front of the car. Doesen't need to come out fully to give you room to get up to the side of the trans.
15/16" open ended spanner to undo the fittings on the trans, BE CAREFUL to ensure the O rings aren't lost. If they are still in the fitting after you remove the pipe, a small hook made from a paper clip can hook them out. New ones aren't critical if they are still soft and not distorted/ damaged, but I'd relace them. The hydraulic hose people will have some the right section so take a sample in with you.(There are 4 required)

The grille needs to come out, and then simply loosen and remove the pipes from the cooler, undo the clamps on crossmember etc and take all of them out.

This is a messy job, DO NOT atempt it on a clean white driveway
