the leads cost me $140, dizzy cap, rotor & coil I got from the UK, I think that was about $80 all up.
Smithy's in Bayswater did the LPG.
I also did fit new set of recon matched injectors out of the USA as well as a new fuel pump ex UK, all of which too contributed to running excellent on petrol.
I've got the scuba tanks in the back and the most I have ever fitted was 60L and that was this morning. Over the last 12 months it generally takes between 50-55L when empty. Usually closer to 50 unless it is cooler weather.
Around town I'll get between 210 and 250kms depending on the traffic.
well ended up getting 265km out of my first tank load around the 'burbs, pretty happy with that.
Did not run it dry, but red LED was on, was close enough to empty.
That's pretty good. How acccurate is your odometer?
The figures I gave were corrected ones as my odo is 5% over the reality.
Is your system open or closed loop?
Closed loop uses an oxygen sensor to control the power valve via a small ecu so as to change the richness of the mixture as you drive.
Open loop has effeectively a manual tap which you can adjust but not continously as you drive like closed loop.
Closed loop should be more efficient. Mine is open loop however it also took me 55mins to drive 16kms this morning which doesn't help. Although I took my wife's car this morning so my Disco didn't use any fuel :D
Good old Smithy's.Had mine done there as well.;) Nothing but trouble i had from them.Price was good but for the amount of problems i had i wouldnt go there again.:mad:.I got the scuba tanks as well. They should be 60 litres useable. But the most i can get in mine is 50.Just one of the probs.:p
