    '95 D1 ES...strange water leak in cabin

I've got water coming from one of the most unusual places I would have imagined...the right rear speaker. It's never more than a few drops that come from behind the speaker cover and dribble down the rear pillar cover. The really odd thing is that the speaker still works as it always did.

Has anyone experienced this before? I'm guessing it's from a leak in the gutter or the upper rear cargo area windows. Although I've had a look and everything seems fine. I guess a cheap fix would be to silicone or waterproof paint any suspect areas.

    Cheers

I think there is a PDF available which shoes how to fix various water leaks in a Disco1. I think there is a bolt you can tighten that is in the vicinity of your leak. Can't remember exactly.

The PDF might even be hosted on here (looked couldn't find it). I downloaded it from a thread on here anyway.

    Hi!

I would not be surprised if it was a collection of internal condensation.

Consider the weather conditions when it happens and keep an eye on the rear side windows for fog.

Water Ingress Manual should be here but a quick Google search will find it: Mark Hopkins - Water Ingress

Thanks, I found that page after a quick search last night. Hopefully I sort this out before rust starts.

Remove (unclip) the rear gutter curve joining clips. **** Three each back corner. Inspect & squirt a dab of sealant in the gap & replace the clips.

I don't think this is mentioned in the Ingress Manual.
