The conversion i was planning will end up costing $8000 before engine mods and as for using another transfer im not really interested as i like my gearing i have atm i was going to use a gq transfer at one point as they make an adaptor for those but it is just not cost effective
as the engines have soared in price of late ( gone from 3500 to 5500 in 7 months)

Off the top of my head roughly $6500 will get you a brand new 6-litre Holden engine, computer and loom.... hint hint

and you can get a new 4L80e with lower ratio gears for better grunt for 4k out right. I have the web addy in my puta somewhere. So 6.5k for the motor 4k for the box and a couple for the adaper and various other stuff needed

So for about 12.5k you have an absolutely awsome set up in your car

unless you worry about fuel prices in which case a suzuki sierra would be better.

And if you really want an oiler they are good to I guess

I get the same fuel economy in my TD5 as my zook. But unleaded is cheaper.
