Making Elmo a snorkel

Sorry not a hijack/takeover, I just put a similar snorkel on mine. I was lucky enough to get the air box half of a safari so that made mine a lot easier. Only thing I would make sure on doing is going behind the airbox or to the side of it so you can fit a dual battery, but it looks like you already have that figured out!

Yours looks great too, I was trying to find black rubber bends but gave up, got the blue silicone bends half price at supercrap. People are divided on the blue, hehehe, but I like it. You got out of yours cheaply, you must be stoked. Mine was around $200 in parts. Cheers

Black would of been better you can get black silicone why didn't you get that or as it to expensive

I didnt (couldnt be bothered, hehe) find a truck spares shop. Supercrap only had the stupidly expensive silicone blue bends in the bargain bin at half price, so jumped on them! :) Normal price is around $70 ea for the bends! :eek:

RRC have the same bonnet type as a P38a and we don't have any trouble making and fitting snorkels to them...
